It's 1951 and as Europe recovers from the horrors of the Second World War, perhaps one more death shouldn't amount to a hill of beans. But when the body of a beautiful young woman is found on a private beach in Monte Carlo, it turns into an international sensation.
The beach can only be reached through the palace of Prince Reynard. So when the police conclude that there has been foul play, suspicion falls on the Prince and his glamorous house-guests.
Who is the mysterious woman? Why would anyone want to kill her? And what is her connection with the shadowy Sisterhood of Sibyl?
The anticipation, mystery and excitement begins before guests have even arrived as each of the guests, or suspects, will receive their invite and suggestions for suitable dress which begins setting the scene for the forthcoming crime – and by the end of the evening, one of the guests will be exposed as a killer! The suspects include Prince Reynard, the most eligible bachelor in Europe, Princess Peacock, the distant cousin of Prince Reynard and the last survivor of an obscure family of Bavarian royalty and Colonel Jock Strapp, a Scottish soldier who won a Victoria Cross on D-Day and never returned home.
